Pick your own strawberries at Fern Hill Family Farms.

Fern Hill Family Farms is located at 10070 Fern Hill Drive in Riverview, FL.  The family owns and operates a 16+ acre  hydroponic farm.  This type of farming does not involve soil as the plants are grown in a “medium” made up of pine bark and peat moss.  The plants are then “stacked” vertically which makes picking berries a lot easier and cleaner.  According to their website, their u pick fields will be open Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm.  Please check their website for more information.
